Watchfire and Whiplash are now prize winning geldings. They took the Best In Horse And Wagon at the Lockwood, MO Christmas Parade on December 9, 2006.
On September 06, we entered our first parade at the Bronaugh Fall Festival. We took Whiplash and Watchfire. This being the first outing at a parade we were a little aprehensive, but within two blocks I could have taken a nap. The horses were stopping and starting on their own as needed and made all the turns just like pros. They did better than many of the "parade broke" horses.
This is our geldings, Watchfire and Whiplash pulling the VFW at the Lamar Parade 0n 8/25/07. They won best team and wagon during the Lockwood, MO Christmas parade last year.
This is our team of mares that are for sale. They pulled the wagon in the Lamar Fair on 8/25/07 with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and 2 year old grandson along. This was their first parade although they have done outings of similar kinds before and they did great.
These mares have done several outings since this parade and have done excellent. While they are a little older, 12 and 13, they have many pleasurable miles left in them and they drive single, double, and have been ridden extensively when younger, both them and me.
They are priced at $2000.00 for the pair.
We have now sold 4 teams of horses. We are beginning to run low on them for us. We have 20 on the farm and 4 of those are sold and will be leaving soon. two others are spoken for also. We are now down to one team of mares that are being worked as a team and several 1+ year old colts yet to be worked.
